So if it matters to you (and it should) who provides your entertainment, it’s not too early to start your inquiries.
I never think of Christmas in the summer. I’m thinking of the beach, barbecues and getting together with friends and family.

Of course, you will check out reviews of potential magicians. You should be able to cipher through the “fake” ones. It is hard with some performers writing their own reviews and “ghost” reviews that disparage talented magicians.
I don’t use Thumbtack, some have splendid success with their service. (You realize the performers pay them money for contact information?) I had a hit-and-run review on Thumbtack. One Star with no comments! I don’t understand why they allow this. I have a consistent 5-star rating and a single one-star review on Thumbtack, giving no reason to back up the relevance.
